Election day is on the Tuesday after the first monday of November.
States where it is a civic holidy:
Delaware
Hawaii
Kentucky
Montana
New Jersey
New York
Ohio
West Virginia
Puerto Rico

Reasona for it being on Tuesday was for the purpose of electoral law. If it was on any other day, it would break electoral law of the 34 day period.

The elected represenatives that represent my town are, Niki Tsongas,  Edward Markey, and Elizabeth Warren.

House of represenatives: One of the two main offices of congress that has the power to pass bills and impeach officials.

Impacts: Oil played a huge role in industrialism. It was,one of the fuel for the first type of automobiles. Also help fuel the assembly line created by Henry ford.        

Longterm effects: oil is used for electrical energy for many differnt uses. Also used industrialation. U.S. has the most imports and oil consumption. The charts tower over other countries and regions.

Electoral votes

1876- Has massachuesetts vote, has the most votes in the New England Region. They did not vote as a whole, votes where very dispersed. 

1880-Has massachuesetts vote, once again the largest vote. Voted as bloc, in the New England region.

1884- Did not have Massachuesetts vote, nor did the New england area vote as a bloc. Votes where differnt in all states.

1888-Did not have massachuesetts vote, although Masachuesetts had the most votes. New england did not vote as a whole.

2008- Massachuesetts had voted for Obama.

2012-Massachuesetts had voted for Obama once again.

Observations: 

1: Many more states had voted than before. Around the 1800s many states had not voted

2: Upper in New england used to be Republican but towards 2000 became democratic.

3: In the 1800s,votes where more,close than the,votes,in the 2000s.

Thanks giving blog

I am thankful for the supporting family i have. For my mom, dad, and sisters. Always lending halping hand when needed always made sacrifices for me and my family.

In America i am thankful for the education system. It allows everyone to have education helping people follow there dreams. Bring alot of people together as well, and even creates the greatest friends ships. Alos provides the tools needed for everyday life.
